Dr Tembo completed his undergraduate medical training at Wits university then obtained his Fellowship in Neurosurgery (With Merit) from the CMSA and MMed(Neurosurg) from Stellenbosch university. His neurosurgery training was supervised by the leading neurosurgeons in the country. He has also presented at multiple congresses across the country. He has a special interest in the management of neuro-spinal conditions and management of brain tumours.
